The purpose of this site, is to consolidate all my South American motorcycle adventures in one place. Last year I dedicated http://theshortwaydown.blogspot.com/ to my first "real" motorcycle adventure that took me thru Chile and Argentina, a sixteen day solo journey that took me all the way to the southern tip of South America to the city of Ushuaia, Argentina. Since I've been going to Chile every year since 1996, and I now have my own motorcycle in Chile, this site will be the place to come to, if you'd like to follow me on my motorcycle adventures in South America. To keep up with my travels thru South America, I hope you will return to this site starting on or about January 7, 2010.
P.S. Weather conditions for Santiago, Chile are now available at the bottom of this page. A word of warning to western New Yorkers, you might be booking a flight to Chile after reading the weather forcast.
